Quick Teriyaki Sauce

This sauce is super easy and takes about 12 minutes from start to finish and it’s absolutely delicious! You can use this sauce on the Tofu Katsu or the Tofu Katsu Sushi Style Sandwiches.

 ¼ cup sakeor vodka
 ¼ cup Brags coconut aminosYou could use liquid aminos but the sodium ends up being higher.
 ¼ cup brown sugar
 ¼ cup Mirin

Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Once it reaches a boil reduce to a very gentle simmer and continue cooking until it's reduced to your desired thickness. I usually cook it down about halfway which typically takes me 10 or so minutes. remove from the heat and serve or store in the fridge, where it will last for a week.
