Downward Facing Dog is a staple in any asana practice. This version is a beautiful calf stretch that I include in almost every practice. When we think of inversions images of acrobatic handstands or headstands come to mind. They’re beautiful and wonderful for your body but, I wanted to take a minute to remind us (myself included) that inversions also look as simple as downward dog.
